Our Estate Agency is growing rapidly and we have a variety of properties for sale throughout the Western Isles. We are located in an ideal location in the Stornoway town centre to have your property viewed in our front window, maximising coverage of your property. Should you decide to sell your property through us, your property would also be advertised on our website and adverts in the local newspapers can also be arranged. Properties are listed in our Property List which is updated each time a property comes on the market.
People who sign up to our mailing list will also be advised of new properties as and when they come on the market.
BUYING
We also have extensive experience dealing with the purchase of property and our local knowledge is always beneficial. Whether you are a first time buyer or looking to relocate to the Western Isles or perhaps simply looking for a change, we are here to help.
We are also happy to offer advice on matters relating to crofting law and we are knowledgeable in Crofting Commission applications and Scottish Land Court applications and procedures.

Spouse/Partner/Couple Basic Wills £100 + VAT
Complex Individual or Couple Wills Request fee quotation
When a Home Visit is required for the above an additional £75 + VAT fee would apply.
POWER OF ATTORNEY
Individual £225 + VAT
Spouses/Partner/Couple £275 + VAT
When a Home Visit is required for the above an additional £75 + VAT fee would apply.
Registration fee with the Office of the Public Guardian is an additional £96 for each POA as at November 2025
EXECUTRIES

CONVEYANCING
House purchase – without mortgage £1075 + VAT
House purchase – mortgage £1175 + VAT
Shared Equity purchase £1250 + VAT
House sale conveyancing £975 + VAT
Standard outlays will be additional to the above.
ESTATE AGENCY
Estate Agency Commission – Typically 1% of the sale price plus VAT (Minimum of £975 + VAT)
Estate Agency fee includes advertising on our Website, Rightmove, Social Media Platforms and our office window display. Video walk through also available on request.
Website & Rightmove advertising fee £80 + VAT
